Christmas hours 2021
On behalf of everyone at South Eastern Community Care, we wish clients, families and friends a very merry Christmas and best wishes for 2022. Our office will close at 12 noon on Friday 24 December 2021 and reopen on Tuesday 4 January 2022. Care staff and nursing staff will continue to deliver care and services as usual on the non-public holidays between Christmas and New Year.
We are happy to confirm that 100% of South Eastern Community Care’s Staff have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine, keeping our staff, clients and community safe. Our staff are wearing masks when they visit homes in the community. We encourage telephone payments and BPAY to reduce interactions at our office.
The Australian Government is making it possible for older Australians and in-home and community aged care workers to get vaccinated quickly and safely. The vaccination of all older Australians and those who care for them is the most effective protection against COVID-19.
South Eastern Community Care is excited to announce we are finalists in the 2020 Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards – Excellence in Aged Care. We would like to thank the sponsors of the Excellence in Aged Care Awards, Prime Super, and of course, we send a huge thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who have made this achievement of being a finalist possible! The winners of the Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards will be announced in November.
The SEC Care Team are excited to be able to share our Strategic Plan for 2020 to 2023. The plan has been developed by our Board and Senior Staff with input from staff, volunteers and others in the community. Our Strategic Plan is supported by various actions and working documents which will help us achieve our goals over the next three years.
