“Despite a little rain while we were setting up, it was a wonderful day to hold a Community Expo, with many organisations coming together to share their knowledge and skills with the community,” Helen Pollard said.

“Hosting an event like our Community Expo during COTA’s Seniors Week is our way of showing our elders how much we value their contribution to our community.
“We believe the SEC Care Community Expo is a testament to the community spirit that is alive and well in the Sorell municipality, and are excited to be a driving-force behind that ethos into the future.”
SEC Care started the tradition of hosting their Community Expo during COTA’s Seniors Week in 2016. Each year, the event has increased in size and attendance, as more people seize the opportunity to celebrate Tasmanian seniors.
