In mid-October, SEC Care hosted our first Community Expo at our Somerville Street premises in Sorell, as part of COTA’s Seniors Week 2016.
It's fair to say we’ve had our share of snow this month in Tasmania, but come December we’ll back in the summer months, enjoying the sunshine and the festive season.
On Friday, 22 July the Sorell Day Centre’s ‘Friday Group’ went on a luncheon outing to Hobart City Mission’s ‘PerMission to Eat’ Café in Barrack Street, Hobart.
On Saturday, 25 June SEC Care had the privilege of participating in the 2016 Tasman Community Wellness Expo.
SEC Care is currently looking for Expressions of Interest for participants who have a diagnosis of dementia or experience mild to moderate memory loss to participate in a program designed to improve memory.
We hope you all had a lovely Mother’s Day this year, whether you shared it with that special lady in your life, were fussed over by your children, or reminiscing over precious memories.
In 2015, SEC Care ran a pilot program designed to demonstrate the possibilities available through technology by showing people how to effectively use iPads.
